Redbrik Foundation launches charity of the month initiative

Written by Redbrik . #Charity & Community

The Redbrik Foundation has launched a new initiative set to offer thousands of pounds to local charities.

Each month, we’ll be choosing one charity from the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire area to receive a donation of up to £2,000 from the Foundation.

As we want to support as many local causes as possible and continue our core ethos of seeking to enhance the lives of young people, the elderly or vulnerable, and those with disabilities, the scheme will run for the next 12 months.

The first charity to receive a donation is Pathways of Chesterfield, chosen by our Director Jessica Risorto.

Jessica said: “Pathways of Chesterfield is a local charity that works tirelessly to support homeless and vulnerable individuals in our community. They provide a range of services, including emergency accommodation, food support, and help with accessing benefits and job opportunities.

“Staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide support, guidance, and hope to those who are facing difficult circumstances. They focus not only on providing immediate support but also on empowering individuals to regain control of their lives. Redbrik shares Pathways’ vision that everyone in our community has a place they can call home.”

Each month’s charity is set to be nominated by a different member of the Redbrik team, helping them to give something back and support a cause close to their hearts.

Since it was established in 2020, the Redbrik Foundation has donated tens of thousands to local charitable causes, including Ashgate Hospice, Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Whirlow Hall Farm, Cavendish Cancer Care, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Paces, St Luke’s Hospice and Fairplay.
