Hope House receives £2,000 donation from Redbrik Foundation

Written by Redbrik . #Charity & Community

The Redbrik Foundation is delighted to announce that residents of Hope House Chesterfield are set to get some new sofas thanks to a £2,000 donation.

The Foundation is committed to helping improve the lives of people living across Sheffield, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. Every month, a different charity is selected to receive a grant which will help them continue their fantastic work within our community.

Hope House is a Chesterfield-based charity, focused on supporting those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Its main project is currently providing accommodation for vulnerable men, offering them a safe space to help rebuild their lives.

Hope House Community life involves establishing positive routines, such as cooking and eating together, access to vocational training and medical support, exercising and developing life skills, with the aim of progressing towards independent living. The building is drug and alcohol-free, as residents are given support to overcome addictions or other life challenges.

Every month, we ask a different member of our team to nominate a cause close to their heart, and Hope House was chosen by Julie Bulheller, Trustee of the Foundation.

She said: “Hope House is doing amazing things for the Chesterfield community and I am so happy we have been able to help them. Providing furniture and making things homely and comfortable is vital to the work the charity does.”

If your charity, or a charity close to your heart, could benefit from support from the Redbrik Foundation, please contact our Director David Cooper by email at david.cooper@redbrik.co.uk.
