Since we launched the Redbrik Foundation just over six months ago, our support for The Children’s Hospital Charity has grown.
The Children’s Hospital Charity is an organisation committed to supporting the families and community members of children receiving treatment at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
It raises funds to improve treatment, facilities and research as well as improving play and entertainment areas for children.
Previously working with the charity at past events such as a fundraising football match, along with support for the hospital’s snowflake sponsorship, Redbrik has always worked hard to support The Children’s Hospital Charity and its incredible efforts.
More recently, the Redbrik Foundation collected and donated toys to Sheffield Children’s Hospital at Christmas. Our Director and Foundation Trustee, David Cooper, dropped off the gifts as a special thank you for the hospital’s commitment and hard work.
Sheffield Children’s provides high-quality treatment to over 290,000 children who visit the hospital every year. The hospital is now just one of three specialist children’s hospitals in the UK, alongside Great Ormond Street and Alder Hey in Liverpool. Not only does the hospital support children in and around Sheffield, but worldwide.
With this past year proving more difficult to raise money for charities like The Children’s Hospital Charity, it’s now more important than ever to do our bit in supporting those who are making such an important difference.
