Beauchief and Greenhill are located in South Sheffield. The suburbs are home to historic sights and plenty of places to socialise, eat and shop.
Miller & Carter Steakhouse
Arguably one of the best steakhouses in Sheffield, Miller & Carter never fails to deliver an exquisite meal; and the elegant yet cosy interior makes you feel right at home. Their menu includes 30-day aged prime steak cuts along with a host of other options from salads and fish for those wanting a light option to delicious buttermilk chicken and smoky BBQ ribs.
Marco @ Milano
The contemporary Italian restaurant is based in a former police station. They serve truly delicious food in tasteful, modern surroundings and you’ll always be greeted by friendly, welcoming staff.
Poppy’s Florist stocks an impressive selection of fresh and fragrant flowers for a wide range of occasions and events. Whether you’d like to spoil a loved one or treat yourself, you’ll be thrilled with their impressive bouquets. They are a family run business on Abbeydale Road and are always happy to offer advice on their flowers.
In Greenhill there is also plenty of shopping to do – there’s a florist, hairdresser, DIY shop, pet shop, curtain store, wine merchants, pharmacy and a convenience store.
Boasting a beautiful lake and plenty of picnic spots, Beauchief Gardens offers a peaceful patch of nature situated on the edge of Beauchief. With footpaths and plenty of wildlife to enjoy, the gardens are perfect for a quiet stroll.
The Summer House
Whether you’re on the lookout for breakfast, brunch, lunch or tea, The Summer House is a great option! The Summer House breakfast is the one to go for if you’ve got a big day ahead, it’ll keep you going until late afternoon. Their Sunday roast is not to be missed, served with a host of delicious sides. For a catch up with friends, we would recommend the pizza with some cocktails – just delightful!
If you’re passing by Eggo’s on Abbey Lane, we would highly recommend you pop in for a coffee and slice of cake. It’s a family-run café in the heart of Beauchief, and the wonderful staff would happily recommend an item from their menu if you can’t decide. On a winter’s day, you’ll want to be sat by the fire in the cosy lounge area with a hot chocolate in hand.
The Beauchief Golf club has been around since 1897 when Abbeydale Golf Club constructed a nine-hole course before moving to its current location. The club pride themselves on their philosophy of giving help and support to golfers of all abilities.
