We will work with you every step of the way through the application and referencing process. You will be asked to fill out an application form and we will then undertake reference checks. Referencing is important for our landlords to ensure that the right tenant is matched to their property. Should you have any issues which might prevent you from getting a good reference, we can potentially offer different options to ensure you can find a rental property.
Our team are lettings experts and will guide you through the move-in process. We will ensure that you fully understand your tenancy agreement at the point of signing and we are, of course, available at any point to answer any questions you may have.
If your Landlord has chosen a Fully Managed Service, then the same Lettings Negotiator who moved you in will be responsible for managing the property and looking after you during your tenancy.
If your Landlord has chosen an Introduction Only Service then all contact, including paying the rent, will be direct with the Landlord.

All our Lettings team have or are working towards, Level 3 Award in Lettings and Property Management, also known as the NFoPP qualification. This qualification is broadly equivalent to A-Level standard and is a requirement for Membership of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA). Covering all aspects of the law and best practice, you can have peace of mind that your property is compliant.
During your tenancy, you’ll have the same negotiator that handled your application as your point of contact throughout. Our negotiators understand the properties we manage and are here to help resolve any issues, big or small. The same person will undertake the property inspections, organise tenancy renewals and if you have to leave, your checkout appointment and the release of your deposit.

Having been valuing properties in the local area since 2005 before co-founding Redbrik, there’s not much Mark doesn’t know about selling houses. With a degree in Public Relations, Mark is responsible for Redbrik’s unique marketing style. His straight talking approach typifies the company ethos, whilst his professional, friendly attitude and thorough knowledge of the area generates great feedback from buyers and sellers alike.
A keen sportsman, Mark plays pretty much any sport going. He’s always up for a challenge, especially if it involves raising money, having run the London Marathon and thrown himself out of a plane at 13,000ft all in the name of charity.
With over 20 years of estate agency experience and extensive knowledge of the local market, Julie co-founded Redbrik in 2013. She is a top class negotiator with a talent for handling even the most complex sales with her signature down to earth style. She’s always super organised with a gift for recruiting and developing the best talent.
Outside of work she’s partial to a glass of red wine, often (but not always!) accompanied by some Italian food. She loves to travel, ideally to somewhere hot and relaxing.
With almost 20 years experience in the property industry before joining Redbrik in 2015, Peter knows a thing or two about buying, selling and renting properties. Post graduation with a degree in accountancy, Peter realised that wasn’t his chosen path and turned to his Saturday job at Blundells to forge a career. He worked his way up to partner and then became a respected Area Director for Countrywide. He’s energetic, outgoing, approachable and above all very
friendly with a strong commitment to customer service.
Peter has played many sports from an early age including football, squash, tennis and golf and can’t resist a challenge if you offer him one, but remember he likes to win! He also loves good food and wine, holidays abroad, preferably somewhere warm, though he would like to be a better skier if he had the time!
After completing a degree in music, Michael somehow wound up in estate agency and found his niche working for some of the largest agencies in both Sheffield and London. He has 10 years of experience in all aspects of the industry and takes a hands on approach to every property sale. Michael primarily works out of our new Sheffield office and uses his extensive knowledge of the local market to value properties in Sheffield.
Michael has a keen interest in Football and Rugby and continues to play the piano whenever he gets the opportunity.
David has worked in estate agency locally since 2008 and his calm and approachable manner fits the Redbrik style perfectly. With a wealth of experience from his time working in both Sheffield and Chesterfield, David has a great understanding of the industry and has a real flair for negotiation and getting a sale to completion. He knows the local market inside out and is an invaluable member of the Redbrik team.
In his spare time David can be found running half marathons, watching sport, supporting local boys Sheffield United and travelling.
Before working at Redbrik, Abi studied Education and Learning at Sheffield Hallam University. Having worked in the sector while she studied her degree, Abi realised education wasn’t for her and refocused her attention to property.
Abi started her journey as Lettings Negotiator with Redbrik in January 2016 and since then she has completed the NFOPP Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management, enabling Redbrik to become ARLA registered. She is currently sturying the Level 4 Property Mark qualification in Residential Lettings and Property Management.
This resulted in Abi's subsequent promotion to the role of Lettings Manager in Chesterfield where she manages the day to day running of the lettings office and takes charge of lettings valuations.
Abi is a keen gym-goer and loves spending time with her friends, whether it’s out for a lovely dinner or at the pub!
With more than 12 years in the industry, Sarah has worked previously in lettings for Mike Jolly Estates and Blundells. In her role as lettings negotiator, Sarah manages a number of our Sheffield properties across the city. She loves working closely with the landlords and tenants to ensure a quality management service is provided throughout for all parties. Sarah is a very enthusiastic member of the team who never fails to enter the office with a smile.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to ride and care for her friends’ horse, Chardonnay, and enjoys dining out (which usually involves a glass or two of red wine). Being a sun worshipper, she also loves a trip to the family home in Spain – as long as good weather is forecast!
Sarah started her career in banking before redirecting her talent for customer service towards working in Lettings, where she quickly worked her way up to Lettings Negotiator. She deals with the whole process from start to finish including dealing with viewings, applications and maintenance. Her favourite part of the job is helping Landlords find the right tenants for their properties and guiding first time landlords through the process.
Sarah enjoys holidays in Italy, mainly because of the yummy food, although travel will be off the agenda for a while as she is expecting her first baby in December!
With more than 14 years in the industry, Zoë's previous employers include Blundells and Spencers. In her role as lettings negotiator, Zoë support renters through the application process right the way through to the final check out and advise where needed. She is very keen on customer service and feels it is one of the main parts of her role ensuring all parties are happy and satisfied. is a Zoë’s happy, friendly and organised member of the team and she is keen to get stuck in to the Redbrik way of things.
When she’s not working, Zoë loves spending time with her husband and young son. She is also a keen cook, enjoys the joy of Gin and really loves going to the Theatre.
Lauren has always worked in sales or advertising and comes from mainly an events background. She is from Sheffield and has lived in various areas of the city. She came to Redbrik as a very customer focused individual with a keen interest in property and enjoys visiting happy tenants and delivering beyond landlords expectations.
Outside of work, Lauren loves to travel and has a very full passport having visited 32 countries. She also enjoys keeping fit through boxing and running and runs various mud races every year, half and full marathons.
Andy is our super-creative photographer responsible for making our properties really look their best. With over 14 years experience of working in photography, Andy also has a background within design and marketing which allows him to bring his wealth of expertise when both designing the floor plans and getting the right shots of your property.
When Andy’s not ‘trying to keep fit’ he’s often found counter balancing the effect by socialising or pursuing one of his other interests film, art (painting bad examples) going to see live music and star gazing.
Taking photos is what Martin loves. He has an artistic flair for photographing homes and finding innovative angles to really make your property stand out from the crowd. Using his years of experience in sales and marketing for some of Yorkshire’s leading arts venues, sports teams and telecoms businesses, Martin is responsible for our social media activities. His rich career has also seen him spend five years in the music industry, where he worked on behalf of numerous artists including David Bowie and Gary Barlow.
Martin has a real passion for architecture, enjoys most sport, but especially playing and watching football, cricket and golf. He’s always up for the latest gadget, taking in a music gig and still finds plenty of time for his two kids.
Chris joined Redbrik in 2014, rejoining former colleagues he had worked with since joining the industry in 2007. Chris is a real all-rounder having gained experience in practically every agency role from viewings to valuations. Working to find applicants their dream home and helping his vendors progress their sale to completion is what he envisaged doing since he did work experience in estate agency aged just 14 years old! And while he certainly takes his role very seriously, you can be sure that if there is an office prank being played, Chris will be at the heart of it!
A superb drummer, he’s been an integral part of various Chesterfield and Sheffield based bands and even opened for Bon Jovi at the KC Stadium in Hull. As well as building his own property portfolio, he enjoys the gym and is very much into his clay pigeon shooting.
Showing properties is a bit of an art and Carmel loves nothing more than finding prospective purchasers what they really want. Calm and understanding, her caring approach typifies Redbrik’s philosophy to helping buyers find their dream homes. She takes the time to get to know the properties she’s selling and will always be on hand to answer those all important questions.
When the team in the office aren’t filling her diary with appointments, Carmel loves to spend her time with husband Gary and her four sons. A football nut, she takes every opportunity to watch her beloved Chesterfield FC. Like many of her colleagues, she enjoys a glass of wine, so she fits in nicely with the Redbrik family!
Lindsey began her career in medical sales, specialising in cardiology and covering London and the south of England. After living in London for almost ten years, she moved back to Sheffield in 2007 where she took some time off to look after her children. Lindsey bought and redeveloped her own home, gaining valuable insight into the challenges of a large project. Since joining Redbrik, Lindsey has found that she loves doing viewings – her chatty nature means she has excellent customer service and she thrives on helping people find their perfect property.
Outside of work, Lindsey’s time is taken up by her two children – Charlie (12) and Darcey (6). She loves spending time trying to get fit with her friends at the gym, though she does prefer spending her time drinking prosecco and having a giggle. When she can, she likes to travel and eat a lot of sushi!
Jaqueline previously spent most of her career working with nursery children. She returned to Sheffield around 12 years ago, after taking a career break in Dorset to focus on bringing up her two twin boys. After buying and renovating an old Victorian property with her husband, she decided it was time for a brand-new career at Redbrik.
Outside of work, Jacqueline loves to spend time with her family and to take her sausage dog for a walk in Derbyshire. On the weekends she likes to get out of the city, and have a glass of her favourite white wine, “Gewürztraminer”.
Originally from Leeds, Kelly currently resides in Dronfield and is new to the lettings and estate agency world. She brings with her plenty of administration experience, having previously worked at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and for a construction company in Leeds, and she is now helping plenty of Redbrik renters and landlords with her excellent customer service.
Her spare time is spent being very busy with her husband, three children and Border Terrier, Tilly. She also enjoys a glass of red wine or a G&T on a weekend.
