Cipollini is one of Chesterfield’s newest restaurants, serving up homely and traditional Italian style cuisine – but not as you know it. Situated in the heart of Chesterfield, just 50 yards away from the famous
Crooked Spire and above The All Saints Tap, Cipollini is in a central location. Whether you’re out for an after-work meal, a catch-up with friends or a romantic evening with your significant other, this is the place to be.
The Antipasto Italiano is a fantastic way to start off the meal, and also available as a sharing platter. Featuring a selection of cured meats, artisan cheeses, fresh baked bread and olives, this appetiser really gives you that much-desired taste of Italy.
For the main event, try the exquisite hanging kebab, featuring marinated chicken, lamb, peppers and onion skewers, served with salad and chips. With succulent chicken and tender lamb pieces, this dish is not your standard takeaway fare.
Or if pizza is more your thing, why not try something a little different with the Stromboli – a stone baked pizza rolled and filled to the brim with mozzarella, cherry tomato, basil pesto, parmesan, ham and Emmental, all topped off with bresaola, parmesan and balsamic reduction. It’s like a pizza enchilada, and frankly, we can’t think of anything better.
And, if you’re feeling a little indulgent, be sure to order a portion of posh fries for the table – served with truffle oil and parmesan, this cheeky side dish is truly decadent and sure to tingle your taste buds.
For dessert, we highly recommend you go for the quintessential Italian pud – tiramisu. You can share this dish, but you might regret not getting one all to yourself!
They also offer a separate Gin Room, featuring an extensive range of botanical cocktails for your choosing.Having already firmly established themselves as a top food destination, be sure to pay a visit to Cippolini next time you’re eating out. Perfecto!
